Payscript is very similar to javascript (but for payroll). If you know some javascript, just browse the Payscript reference and you're good to go!

If you don't know what I'm talking about... this is my first tip:
Read the payscripts of the sample computations. More often than not, you simply have to modify an existing payscript.
